Our Permit Process

For simple requests (like dumpsters), the online form collects all necessary details for immediate submission.

For larger projects (building or occupancy permits), the form captures just the basics and prompts scheduling a consultation.
3. Document Collection & Filing
For basic permits: clients upload the necessary documents directly via the form.
For complex permits: clients are guided through what is needed (architectural drawings, plats, contractor licenses, etc.) during a follow-up call.
Capitol Permits prepares and submits the application to the relevant agency.
2. Review & Estimate
Capitol Permits reviews the project scope, confirms required agencies (DOB, DDOT, etc.), and provides an estimated permit cost and timeline.
4. Tracking & Approval
We monitor progress, respond to reviewer comments, and deliver final approvals to the client.
